Hello,

With the recent version update with Land F/X, when I try to place the callouts for my RefNotes, they do not automatically snap onto the grid even when I have grid snap enabled. I click the button to place the callout and then the grip snap automatically becomes disabled, and each time I have to press F9 to make it snap on the grid again. I was wondering if this was intended with the recent update and if there is a way to keep grip snap always enabled.

Hi Isaac,

The last update restored the grid function to the RefNote callouts. Now, when placing a callout, the system will save the grid setting and will restore that saved grid setting when you place the next RefNote callout.

You should only need to press F9 once while placing the first actual callout or leader, not the arrow, to save in your new preferred setting of having the grid snap automatically turn on while placing RefNote callouts. Please note that it won't turn on until after the arrow is placed, so that your arrow isn't limited to grid locations.

Also, I noticed that you updated this morning. Make sure you restart AutoCAD or F/X CAD in order to see any changes from that update.

Thanks,
Amanda

(edit to clarify that F9 should only need to be placed once per session, if you'd like to always place RefNote callouts with the grid snap on. Land F/X will remember the setting. If restarting AutoCAD after your update does not set this, make sure you're not pressing F9 every time, since that will turn it back off)
