If I've got a large schematic area of, say, 300 gpm, and I want to break it up into 6 50gpm chunks, shouldn't each valve I pipe to the area show it's relative portion of that area (in the call-out), with appropriate pipe size? IOW, 6 valves, 6 call-outs showing 50gpm, and the appropriate pipe size? My current project is not doing that.
Tom,
I just ran a test drawing with your instructions and everything seemed to work just fine. Go ahead and send in your files using the Tech Support tool and we can take a look at what is going on with your file.

For those who run into this: I sent my drawing in, and Jake found a spot where I had over-lapped my polyline between two areas, thus the problem. Untangling fixed it.

Hi, I have a similar problem.

I have placed several valves into big schematic drip areas. The problem is that those valves are not splitting flows as they should do automatically - they are multiplying the same flow, so instead of having 4 zones with flow 80l/min  (total 320 l/min), I end up with 4 zones with 320l/min flow. Moreover, this is making the mainline sizing impossible as I do not have a water source supporting this flow.

Thank you

Nemanja

It seems that when I add lateral pipes, things do change, but the needed flow at the connection point No.3 still multiplies into astronomic figures (over 800l/min instead of below 120l/min).

I am attaching this file so you can check what is wrong. I was working at connection point No.3 (work area "CJELINA 3 ")

Naturalist,

Apologies on the delayed response, it looks like there was an issue with the notifications getting to us. Please make sure you are up to date with the latest Land F/X version and run Verify Laterals, then try sizing your laterals again. If this doesn't seem to fix your issue please submit a technical support ticket and we will be happy to check out what might be going on.

This has been corrected, and is part of the 16.90 update posting tomorrow.
