When placing spot elevations, and clicking on a contour line with the helpful Z elevations (I think that's how this works), the spot automatically shows the elevation, but in inches. For example, clicking on the 75' line shows an elevation of 900, which is how many inches it takes to reach 75'. My drawing units, and the xref units, are set to architectural inches. The contour lines are in the xref. Is it truly calculating inches? Will that affect hydraulic calcs? How do I make it show feet? I just enter things manually, but it sure is nice to use the contour lines.

Thanks!
Tom,
I see what you're saying.
In architectural inch units, if you snap the spot elevation to a contour (polyline) with an elevation of 75' in the properties panel, it will default the first point in the spot elevation creation window to 900' instead of 75'.

Yes, that should translate to feet instead. Our spots work in feet.

I'll bring it up with our development team to review that.

Fixed.

Will be part of the 15.06 update this week.
