Sometimes when we move details on a sheet and change their attributes to reflect such (like moving detail 1 to detail number 4) LandFX doesn’t recognize the detail has been moved. To make it recognize the move we have to reassign the sheet. If a user is not aware of this quirk, the schedule, even if regenerated, does not reflect the proper sheet location. Is there a way that LandFX could automate this to mitigate, or even remove the chance or the user error?

You are welcome to change a detail number by just changing the attribute.  But for the system to recognize the change, it will need to scan the details on the sheet and update the database.  Probably the easiest way to do this, is to click the Refresh icon in the Detail Manager.  Alternately, the Update Detail Callouts tool will do so.  As will closing and reopening the Detail Manager, or the drawing itself.

We could also add this process to more places.  I see that Update Details, and placing a detail, will not update other manually edited details on the sheet, and they certainly could.

Thank you Jer. I never noticed that the refresh button. Thanks! I like the idea of updating automatically when another detail is added. That will save me a step. I read the update text and will be on the lookout for that.
