So why "LK-ANNO-MASK" which blacks out my call-out when plotting? And the background mask used to come automatically--what happened there?

II tried to edit the call-out block per the knowledge base, but I am hopeless, apparently. I freeze this layer before plotting, but if I add another call-out, it pops back on.

I just want a readable valve call-out with the background masked out, like it used to be.

Help!
Tom,
We have updated our standards, making them more adaptable to all types of users drafting preference. With this came a few modifications to our layer colors, layers, and blocks. Please see the link below on what these changes have been and how to update your setup to accept these changes. In your case, all you would need to do is adjust the color 133 screening number to 0 instead of 100 within your ctb file and all will be fine.

I got a little impatient and frustrated with the new valve call-outs (before Jake saved me), and went in and deleted the mask from LAFX-VALVECO-L. Using the Knowledge Base, I replaced it (poly line, solid hatch, moved to back of drawing, put on the correct layer, saved). The changes are not showing up in my drawing, so I have masked right-handed call-outs, and un-masked left-handed ones. I've PRG'd, and re-booted AutoCad. So, what am I missing?

Thanks!

Sounds like you haven't redefined the block in the drawing. Try typing REDEFINEBLOCK and click on it.
