Seen in this webinar at 40:56 mark, a file has 2 works areas in it each with its own UCS. When a label is placed in a work area with a different UCS to what is currently set, the label auto-flips to the UCS of the work area.
I've tried to recreate this effect, but all my labels only orient to the current UCS I'm set in. Tried plant labels, refnotes, mleaders with text, etc.
Was this featured removed by chance? Or is there possibly a setting I'm unaware of? I checked mleaderstyle and didn't see much about UCS orientation.

Yes that auto UCS snapping proved troublesome. And then as fate would have it, in attempting to correct the behavior, a bug in the code left it not firing at all for a couple years. In revisiting it, we decided it was best to just leave it not automatically firing.
So current functionality is that the current UCS is used, leaving it up to the user to restore the desired UCS.

Ah sounds good, I figured as much. 9 times out of 10 I want to throw down labels and such while seeing up right anyways. Thanks!
