XLayer

Our XLayer tool is an improved version of the AutoCAD XLIST command that allows you to quickly edit layer information in an Xref from your main drawing.

See XLayer in action! Check out our Design F/X Overview webinar. The XLayer demonstration starts at 34:45 in the video.

XLayer Overview

XLayer provides an easy method for changing layer information in your Xrefs without actually opening the drawing files where they're kept. As long as you've brought a drawing file into your main drawing as an external reference (Xref), you can use XLayer to edit layer information in that file with only the main drawing open.
