Saved a hatch into the system and don't need it anymore? Or did you save one of your custom hatches incorrectly? (For example, you might have edited the scale for one of the Land F/X hatch patterns, and you want to return it to its default scale.) Use our Delete Hatch tool.
Note that there is no way to delete a Land F/X default hatch, so when you run our Delete Hatch tool, you'll only see user-defined hatches to choose from in the dialog box.
Delete Hatch Overview
To delete a hatch pattern from the hatch libraries, open the Delete Hatch tool:
F/X Site ribbon, Delete Hatch option
F/X Details ribbon, Delete Hatch option
F/X Site menu, Delete Hatch option
F/X Details menu, Delete Hatch flyout
or type DELETEHATCH in the Command line
Select a hatch to delete, then click OK.
Only user-created hatches will be listed here. If you see one of our default hatch subcategories listed here, it's because a Land F/X default hatch scale has been customized in your office. If you delete the Land F/X default pattern, you'll really only reset its scale to the default scale for that Land F/X hatch.
When asked whether you're sure you want to delete the hatch, click Yes to delete it.
The hatch will be deleted from the system.
