Seed Mixes
The Land F/X seed mix database is a 2025 expansion of our plant information offerings. This database lists seed mixes by the supplier who sells them. Species composition is included whenever possible. We're still in the process of adding this information, so it's somewhat limited but will continue to grow over time.
Unlike the plant database, these mixes cannot be edited. If you need to edit mix information, do so once you've placed a Plant Schedule. If you find any issues or have any requests, please contact us using the Report Issue button in the bottom left corner of the seed information page, or submit a technical support ticket.
Adding a Seed Mix to Your Land F/X Project
You can find seed mixes in our main plant database, available in the Plant Manager. Open the Plant Manager:

F/X Planting ribbon, Plant Manager flyout

F/X Planting menu, Plant Manager option
or type ProjectPlants in the Command line
To pull up the seed mix database, select the Ground Covers plant category in the Plant Manager, then click New.
You'll only be able to see the seed mix information listed if you select the Ground Covers plant category.

The Land F/X Add Plants dialog box will open, and the main page will default to single species plants. To access seed mixes, select the Seed Mix option at the top of the dialog box.
You'll now see the seed mixes, listed by supplier. Select a supplier you'd like to source from, or use the search options to find a specific mix. You can search by the supplier name, mix name or code, or for a specific plant species included in a mix.
Don't see the mix you want? Contact us to see if we can add it.
To view the mix information and species composition (if available), double-click the mix name or click the Data button in the bottom right corner of the dialog box.
The mix data page includes a description from the supplier, application note with specific details about how to apply the mix, and application rate. Species composition includes the botanical and common names of the plants in the mix, as well as the percent fill if given by the supplier.
Click Add to Project to add the mix to your Land F/X project.
