Install the Land F/X SketchUp Plugin

The following steps are for installing the Land F/X SketchUp plugin, which is available from the SketchUp Extension Warehouse. The SketchUp plugin is included in any of the Land F/X plugins for AutoCAD. Note that SketchUp is a separate program that you must purchase and download from Trimble.

Don't have SketchUp yet? You can download it from the SketchUp website. We offer the Land F/X SketchUp plugin, but we do not own or provide downloads of SketchUp.

Land F/X only supports SketchUp Pro.

Land F/X does not support the following editions of Sketchup:

  • Studio
  • Classic – non-subscription pricing

We are only able to support SketchUp Pro because our 3D Connection is based on the Ruby platform and requires an edition of Sketchup that supports the Core Ruby API and Extension Warehouse. We do not support the free version of SketchUp.

We no longer support SketchUp 8. We support SketchUp versions 2019 and newer.

  • Has Read/Write permissions, and
  • Does not contain any files that are not related to the Land F/X SketchUp plugin
