Planting F/X Revit Error Occurred: Could Not Find the LAFX Tag Id on Element with Name LFX-TYPE

Issue

You tried to label a groundcover using our plugin for Revit plugin and saw the following error message:

Could not find the LAFX Tag Id on element with name LFX-Type-CAR PRA_867. (or a similar LFX-TYPE name)

Cause

You're labeling a toposolid subdivision groundcover, and the toposolid where the subdivision was created didn't have the LAFX Tag Id parameter on it. Our plugin for Revit uses this hidden parameter to identify which plants are tagged by which group label.

Solution

1. Open our Console tool.

2. Run the LFXPR command to re-establish the placed plants' LAFX parameter to current standards.

3. Delete the tag that was produced after the error.

4. Tag the groundcover(s) again. You should no longer see the error in this RVT file.
