Error: Cannot Create Folder at (Folder Name)

Issue

You saw an error message similar to the following when using our software:

Error: Cannot create folder at L:/Blocks

You may have also seen one of both of the following errors:

• Error creating folder
• I was unable to copy a file to the LandFX folder. Please ensure your user account has full permissions to that location.

Cause

We've seen this issue with installations using the OneDrive shared folder service, which can interfere with the ability to map the LandFX folder correctly to a letter drive.

Solution

If you're running Land F/X with a shared online folder using OneDrive, you'll need to disconnect your current mapped drive and re-map your LandFX folder using our Drive Mapper tool.
