Does Land F/X Support 4K (HiDPI) Monitors?

Some users have asked us whether our software supports 4K (HiDPI) monitors.

Answer

We've noticed a few issues with AutoCAD on HiDPI monitors. In terms of our software, many of our dialog boxes scale correctly on HiDPI monitors. However, those that rely on OpenDCL will not. These dialog boxes include dockable palettes, such as the Plant, Detail, and Irrigation Managers.

Here's an example of how one of these OpenDCL dialog boxes may look on a HiDPI monitor:

If you notice that some of our dialog boxes have this appearance (i.e., incorrectly scaled or sized text), you can follow our steps for correcting the Windows text size setting.

However, we understand that it's unfortunate to have to do so. According to what we've heard from OpenDCL, the issue "will require internally scaling all size values based on a scale factor derived from display resolution. It's going to take some work and will take time to find and correct all the cases where sizes should be scaled, but we agree it needs to be done."
