Unable to Load Profile File. Some Profile Info Saved in Last Session May Not Be Restored. (Opening AutoCAD or F/X CAD)

Issue

When attempting to open F/X CAD or AutoCAD, you received an error message similar to the following:

Unable to load profile file. Some profile info saved in last session may not be restored.

You may not see any buttons for Land F/X or CAD tools, but you may be able to type commands in the Command line.

Cause

Your AutoCAD profile has likely become corrupt, resulting in this error message.

Solution

1. AutoCAD users only: Ensure that the AutoCAD updates are installed. Download the updates

F/X CAD users: Skip to the next step.

2. Follow our instructions to reset F/X CAD or AutoCAD to defaults.
