View Hidden Files and Folders

You may run into a CAD error that requires you to turn on your hidden files and folders in Windows.
You'll most likely need to make file extensions visible as well. Information and instructions
Open the Windows Start menu, and type File Explorer in the search box.
Select the File Explorer entry that appears at the top of the menu.
Windows 10
In Windows 10, select the View tab in the File Explorer, then select the Hidden Items option to view your hidden files and folders.
Windows 11
In Windows 11, open the View menu. Hover the cursor on the Show option, then select the Hidden Items option in the submenu that opens to view your hidden files and folders.
