Leader Line Appears to Extend Into Label on Reference Notes Callouts

Issue

You placed Reference Notes Callouts in your drawing, and the leader line is extending into the label portion of one or more of the callouts.

Cause

An AutoCAD bug affecting the MLeader attachment style is likely causing this issue.

Solution

1. Type MLS in the Command line and press Enter.

2. In the Multileader Style Manager, select the RefNote MLeader style, then click Modify.

3. In the Modify Multileader Standard dialog box, select the Content tab.

 

Open the Attachment menu, and select the option that is not currently selected – Center Extents or Insertion Point.

Toggling to the option that is not currently selected should resolve the bug that is causing the issue with your callouts.

4. Click OK in the Multileader Style Manager. You may need to regen your drawing at this point to correct your callouts.
