Detail Description is Blank in the Detail Explorer
Issue
While viewing a detail in the Detail Explorer, you are unable to see that detail's description.
Cause
That name of that detail file was likely changed manually in its folder within the detail library, but the name of the XML file associated with the detail was not.
In this example, the names of the DWG and SLD files associated with a detail have been renamed, but the name of the XML file has not been changed. As a result, the detail's description, which is included in that XML file, is not listed in the Detail Exmplorer.
Even if we were to change the name of this detail's XML file at this point, it would not resolve the issue.
Solution
To resolve this issue, just delete the XML file associated with the detail.
You can also choose to give all three files a completely different name – just make sure you rename all three and that the names match.
Once you've deleted the detail's XML file, a new one will be created, and you should be able to see the detail's description in the Detail Explorer.
