This Project Does Not Have a Detail Folder Assigned. Would You Like to Do That Now? (Adding a Detail to a Project)
Issue
You saw the following message when trying to add a detail to a project:
This project does not have a detail folder assigned. Would you like to do that now?
Cause
You'll see this message when attempting to add details if the Copy Details to project folder option is currently checked in the Detail Preferences for the active Preference Set.
This option requires a project folder because the system will need to know where to copy the detail.
Solution
You can resolve this issue by either:
- Setting a project folder in the Project Manager, or ...
- Unchecking the option to Copy Details to project folder in the Details Preferences.
Warning: Talk to your office Land F/X CAD Manager before changing this option in the current Preference Set. Your office may have it set this way as a standard for an important reason.
