Detail Template: Red Line Below Detail Title Extends Beyond the Detail Boundary
Issue
When you insert a Detail Template, the red line below the detail title extends beyond the detail boundary.
Cause
This issue occurs when you modify the Detail Template width but do not also edit the template block to match.
Solution
Open your Details Preferences, and check your Detail Template settings.
1. Check the Format Width and Format Height settings in the Detail Template area. In this example, the user has changed the Width to 7.250 inches.
2. Click Open Template. You may notice that the template file has the non-plot tick marks at the left and right extreme as a guide. You will need to edit this file to match the preference setting, to be 7.250 inches wide.
