F/X CAD Let's Get Started (Welcome) Screen is Blank, or Loads Off Center, Leaving Blank White Box or Partial Wording

Issue

The F/X CAD Welcome screen is blank when it opens, in one of the following ways:

• It's completely blank, as pictured to the right, or ...

• It's loading off center, resulting in either a blank white box or partial wording on the screen, as pictured below.

As a result, you may be unable to activate F/X CAD.

Cause

If the Welcome screen is completely blank, it's a minor issue with the AutoCAD installer. You can just close the blank dialog box.

If the Welcome screen is loading off center, as pictured below, it may be the result of selecting the start a trial option on the Let's Get Started screen. (It's an issue with the coding in AutoCAD that we have been unable to remedy.) For this reason, you should avoid clicking this option.

Causes / Solutions

If the Welcome screen is showing up completely blank, you can simply close it by clicking the X in the top right corner.

 

 

Once you activate your installation, you won't see this blank dialog box anymore.

If the Welcome screen is loading off center, as pictured below, follow our steps to change Your F/X CAD license type, making sure to select the Enter a Serial Number option on the Let's Get Started screen.
