Issue

You saw the following message while trying to run the Workstation installer:

Error accessing network location:

//example server name/landfx"

Cause

This issue is likely occurring because your Land F/X Server installation has been moved to a new location but the installer has the old location cached on your computer.

Solution

You can find the correct registry keys by searching for F/X in the following locations:

remove install path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\

remove cached msi path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\

You can now uninstall it from the Add/Remove Programs utility in the Control Panel and prun the Land F/X Workstation installer file (setup_FXWorkstation).
