Verify Laterals Keeps Showing Circular Pipe Errors

Issue

You ran our Verify Laterals tool to check your irrigation plan for errors, and the Verify Laterals dialog box is showing that you have a circular pipe error. You've deleted and re-drawn your pipe but are still seeing the error.

Cause

You may have piped two zones together. After deleting and redrawing the pipe, you likely continued to pipe back to the head or equipment that is connected the two zones together, causing the circular pipe error.

The image below shows an example of what the Verify Laterals dialog box might be showing when you choose to highlight the circular pipe error in cyan.

Solution

Use our Highlight Station tool to highlight the lateral pipe routing and see where the circular pipe error is occurring.

In the example below, the laterals are looped, but two valves are highlighting, indicating that they have been piped together, causing the circular pipe error.

Which exact segment of pipe is deleted will be up to you. After you've deleted the pipe segment, run Verify Laterals one last time to confirm that the circular pipe error is no longer there.
