Drip Description Text Not Allowing You to Delete Information

Issue

You tried to customize the text in a drip irrigation equipment description in the Equipment Info dialog box, but you weren't able to delete a portion of the description text. For example, you may be able to delete the end of the description but the rest of the text is not deleting.

The example below shows a dripline description where a user was unable to delete the text that follows the lateral spacing figure, but everything up to that figure is not deleting.

Cause

The system is trying to retain the row and emitter spacing numbers in the description so it can match what is listed in the spacing options as you make changes to these items.

Solution

If you want to customize the description so it falls outside this logic, delete the entire description first. You can then customize the description as you see fit.
