Plant Outlines or Exclude Shrubs: Performance Issues

Issue

You tried to use either our Plant Outlines or Exclude Shrubs, and you noticed one or more of the following issues:

• The software began to run extremely slowly
• The resulting regions look like they’re filled with possibly a bright green hatch (pictured below)
• Other issues, such as symbols not displaying correctly when you attempt to place them

Cause

Your Visual Style setting is not set to wireframe.

Solution

F/X CAD users:

Export your drawing to a DFX, and it will automatically set the visual style back to wireframe, correcting the issue.

AutoCAD users:

Type VISUALSTYLES in the Command line, and press Enter.

When prompted to set a style, select Wireframe.
