Congratulations to our 2015 Photo Contest Winners

We had so many great entries this year, it was difficult to narrow them down to a few select images. But as you can see, the images that won are truly spectacular. Great landscape design projects, combined with quality photography, made for a wonderful bunch of pics to look through. So thank you to everyone who submitted! For those of you who weren't picked, keep in mind that we will use many of the images on our website as well – and of course, there will be photo credits and compensation for any client-submitted images used on our website.

This year's winners are:

Cover Award & Multiple Images Used Award: Redizon Landscape Architects, Costa Rica
Christian Castro at Redizon Landscape Architects sent us quite a few images of very high quality. We ended up using five of his images in our new brochure!

Trifecta Award & Excellence in 3D: YTL Inc.
Pat Pabich has been a Land F/X client for many years. He uses the Land F/X SketchUp Connection extensively to create high-quality renderings of his planting plans for his clients to visualize. For our SketchUp Connection layout in the brochure, we used all three: His DWG file, SketchUp file, and a realistic rendering of the same plan created with the Thea plugin.

Excellence in Detail: Shapiro Didway Landscape Architecture
We based our entire Details layout in the brochure on a great detail of a bench that Shapiro Didway created and laid out using the Land F/X Details tools.
