Adjusting Prices: Letter from the Land F/X CEO

The time has arrived for us to update our yearly subscription prices to remain in line with the undeniable value our products and support bring to our worldwide community of designers. Our commitment to providing the best software possible, along with the stellar support to back it up, hinges on our ability to expand our workforce while continuing to offer the competitive compensation they deserve. With these goals in mind, the following updated prices will apply to new purchases and renewals of our plugins starting January 1, 2026:
• Irrigation F/X: $995
• Planting F/X: $695
• Detail F/X: $295
F/X CAD will remain at the same price of $775.
Here are just a few examples of the tremendous benefits Land F/X continues to bring to you:
• In addition to continuing to add to our CAD plugin every single week (as we’ve done for 20 years and counting), we’re expanding our development efforts with our plugins for Revit, SketchUp, and Rhino, as well as long-lead development into a tablet version of Land F/X. As the industry evolves to new technologies and platforms, you can be assured that Land F/X will be there for you.
• We’ve added more manufacturer partners recently, with even more coming on board.
• We’re steadfast in continuing our telephone support, preventing both long wait times and avoiding outsourced support.
• We recently added an AI chatbot to provide instant support 24/7 (which still doesn't alleviate our need to cultivate and retain top human talent).
I am especially proud of our team. I never thought we'd have over 40 employees and yet still need more, with us likely exceeding 50 employees in the next two years. I am honored and humbled to be able to provide quality software and unmatched support to many gifted designers across the entire planet.
I know nobody enjoys seeing a cost increase, but at the same time, I don't want the quality of our product or support to suffer as we continue not only to grow but to rise to meet the ever-increasing expectations of those just discovering us.
Through it all, I trust you’ll find that our new price structure is still quite competitive, and this minor increase will help ensure that our support is there for you, your cloud data is secure, and the software continues to evolve with the needs and technology trends of the industry.
