Friday's Webinar:
The AutoCAD Basics You Need To Know to Use Land F/X

Presented by David Farmer

Someone who is new to AutoCAD can be overwhelmed with what are the important aspects of AutoCAD they need to know to begin using Land F/X.
This webinar is not intended for the advanced AutoCAD user.  If you are fairly new to AutoCAD and understand some very basic functions, such as how to open and save a file, draw a line or polyline, etc., then this webinar can help you focus on the important aspects of AutoCAD you need to know to work with Land F/X.
You do not need to be an AutoCAD power user to use Land F/X, but you really should know some basic things about AutoCAD to help you get the most out of Land F/X.  This webinar will go over such things as drawing cleanup, Xrefs, Viewports, Layers, Plotting, Blocks, Properties, sheet setup, and where to go for training on the very basic functions.

*Please note this webinar will be done using F/X CAD.
This Webinar will begin at 10am PST, 1pm EST.
I'd like to join!

Details Explorer and Management Changes

There have been changes to how the Detail Explorer is used in Land F/X.  This video will review the recent changes and the new file methods used when saving a detail.
There have been some changes to how the Detail Explorer is used in Land F/X, and to how details are saved for specific projects.  Review the documentation sections for how the new Detail Explorer operates with an easier filing system and drag and drop capability.  Also review how to save a detail for new methods of saving a detail directly to a Project’s folder. You can also quickly add details to a project with the Detail Explorer.

New Colorization Feature!

Colorization is a new feature coming to Land F/X. This will be similar to our SketchUp Connection, but will work entirely within AutoCAD. You will be able to swap out your construction document AutoCAD plant symbols with a library of over 7,800 colorized symbols, and a variety of site and ground cover color methods.
This is a major step forward in using AutoCAD to produce illustrious presentation drawings without having to go to a third party program such as Photoshop or M-Color. The only draw back to this feature is that it will not be able to work with Bricscad, and will only be an available feature with any AutoCAD 2011 or higher, or F/X CAD.
If you have been thinking about upgrading you AutoCAD, make sure to check out the features of F/X CAD. You can upgrade your CAD version for only $1995!
We heard absolute wonderful feedback on the Planting Plan Basics Webinar from last Friday! Make sure to check out the recorded webinar
*It will be posted later this week*
