Using Photoshop in Post-Production Renderings Webinar Part 2

Expanding on our first webinar on Photoshop rendering, we’ll show you further techniques for enhancing your plan in Photoshop. We’ll begin with a lesson on translating hand-drawn graphics into digital form, optimizing them for digital production in Photoshop on the way to creating your own library of custom symbols and graphics for use in your CAD plans. You’ll then learn some helpful techniques for using photos and textures to create a more realistic-looking plan. Continue your Photoshop education Land F/X style!

Quick Trick of The Week

Buttons and Options Grayed Out in Preferences?

With a recent update, we've added the ability for offices with our Cloud Data option to restrict all users, or specific users, from making changes to specific Preference Sets. If you opened any of our six Preferences screens and several buttons and options are grayed out and inoperable, the current Preference Set is probably restricted. Chances are, it's restricted for a reason – although it's possible that the Preference Set has been restricted accidentally. Not sure? Ask your CAD Manager. If you ARE your office's CAD manager, see the "Preferences grayed out?" link below for the solution.

5 Myths About Landscape Architects

Our Mythical (and Apparently Mythologized) Profession

The landscape architecture field is an oft-misunderstood one. Matt Evans, of Land F/X client Stewart Engineering, recently published an article titled “Top Five Myths About Landscape Architecture,” which covers some common misconceptions about LAs. It’s a fun read, and we thought we’d share it with you. Enjoy!
