Power Tip: How to Use Land F/X with Dropbox

Use Land F/X with Dropbox

Presented by: Forrestt Williams

If you have multiple users in several locations, or even if you just need to work from different computers at different times, Dropbox with Cloud Data is a great solution. With your LandFX folder in a shared online location using a service like Dropbox, you can be assured that all users are referencing the same Land F/X data in real time. Plus you'll always be able to access your latest project data and preferences whether you're at work, at home, or traveling with a laptop. This Power Tip will show you the best methods for sharing your LandFX folder online.

AutoCAD 2019 Users

Important Update!

If you're on subscription with AutoCAD and have been waiting for when Land F/X can be loaded, do we have an update for you!

Autodesk should already have informed you about the recent 0.1 Update for AutoCAD 2019. You can download this update from your Autodesk Download Assistant or by logging in to your subscription account.

Once you've installed the update, you’ll need to update your OpenDCL library to get rolling with Land F/X in your AutoCAD 2019 installation. If you're still unable to use Land F/X after updating OpenDCL, downloading and running our latest Workstation installer will do the trick.

Note that this is not a guarantee that all things Land F/X will work perfectly with 2019. Please keep this caveat in mind, and let us know if you encounter anything that seems off or not working right. We've been testing it thoroughly here, but it takes us time to get to every possible function to test.

The new Baseline SubStation is the perfect solution for complex irrigation sites. The SubStation connects wirelessly to BaseStation 3200 controller, allowing you to consolidate multiple existing controllers into a single BaseStation 3200 controller without the need to run wire across long distances. Once you've established the connection, you can program the SubStation from a BaseStation 3200 or with BaseManager from any location. With the SubStation, you can bring the latest in smart irrigation technology to any conventional wire or two-wire site.

Ready to spec the SubStation? Find it in the Controller Accessories section of our Irrigation Manager.
