Fall/Winter Wrap-Up

In October, we completed a very successful tour of 9 landscape architecture programs, where we got to meet more than 300 students! Even floods in Texas couldn't stop us as we made an emergency switch to a live webcam presentation in Utah State University's state-of-the-art lecture room. It was great to hear from everybody and get the chance to answer your questions live. Jeremiah couldn't have been more thrilled with the excellent hospitality from each school. We look forward to visiting 9 more universities next year. One of them might be yours!

We also finished off the tour with our first recorded student workflow live webinar. Land F/X 101 covered every tool a student might need in preparing an example healing garden design. We covered all the steps along the way to creating a professional plan, from starting off a CAD drawing correctly through preparing a 3D model. If you want to be as prepared as possible for the professional world, Land F/X 101 and the other upcoming webinars are must-see training tools. Impress your potential employers by showing off your AutoCAD skills.

We then followed up with a well-attended Land F/X 201 session, where we went through the process of using our Concept Graphics tools for the inventory and analysis drawing on a new campus plaza redesign. This webinar also shows how to jump back and forth between your laptop and a computer lab installation. You can also watch the recording for this webinar right now!

January's Tip of the month: Have you heard about our new Site Color tools? You can limit your time with post-production in PhotoShop by placing color fills, plan graphics of people, and color rendered trees right into AutoCAD using Land F/X.
