Summer is almost over, and many of our academic users have already started up the 2016–17 academic year.
With that comes a friendly reminder that a new year means a new Support ID. You won't be able to use the Support ID you received last year, or even the one you may have received during the summer for a summer extension academic license.
The fastest way to get your school's new Support ID is to fill out our Academic License Form again, using your official academic email address. You'll immediately be sent instructions on how to get your program back up and running!
Today's tip for new and returning academic users is to set up your automatic update reminders – and to update! We send out regular updates with new tools and other improvements all the time. One of the best ways to make sure you can write "proficient in Land F/X" confidently on your resumé is to ensure you're working with the latest version.
Check out our Checking for Updates Automatically documentation page for steps on how to turn this feature on. I recommend setting it to "Every Day" and "Any User." You'll only get notifications when a new update is available.
