I know I'm not allowed to pick favorites, but suffice it to say that I liked Cornell a lot.
It's a very beautiful campus, and the Landscape Architecture department is nicely laid out within the striking Kennedy Hall -- the administrative and faculty offices surround the common entry area, with classrooms flanking the hallway leading to the gorgeous studio space. All five years of students have a permanently assigned studio area, with Freshmen at one end, progressing to the fifth-year students at the far end.
The students asked some excellent questions, and showed a great interest in using Land F/X to its full potential.
Much thanks to Kris Flahive for helping to schedule and promote the event.
The studio space within Kennedy Hall.
Everybody starts filing in, driven by the Pizza Party flyers placed throughout the building.
The students kept coming in -- we ended up filling every chair, with some faculty members standing in the back.
