This week's power tip was inspired by David Fox, who was looking for a way to save details to a non-standard size.
1 Select the Insert Detail Template option from the F/X Details menu.
2 Specify a scale, then click the Window button. Specify a window. Land F/X will automatically convert the line into a detail template.
3 This example used the XCLIP command from AutoCAD to trim the external reference (XREF) to a specified window.
4Save the detail to the Detail Explorer using Land F/X.
5 The non-standard sized detail can now be placed on a sheet through the Detail Manager.
