The shut off valves used to work perfectly, now they just snap to the mainline, with the long axis of the symbol perpendicular to the pipe. I've done the symbol editing; it doesn't work, no matter whether I set it to manual or no rotation. Backflow devices will allow rotation, but don't snap to the orientation I put them. What I want is the way it was before with shut-off valves, and I'd like BF devices to do the same thing. In fact, I'd like all main line devices to do that--flow sensors, caps, QC valves, etc....
Interestingly, shut off valves will rotate to, and stay in place, to any orientation when I place them before I draw pipe. They only snap the one way to the pipe when I place them on pipe. BF devices will rotate, but always snap to their own orientation, whether placing on blank space or on pipe. QC valves don't rotate at all.
Control valves work great--they rotate and stay in place if I place them before drawing pipe; and, they snap to perfect orientation to the main if I put them on already-drawn pipe. That's nice.
So, are there LFX issues with this, or am I still the Seattle Problem Child?
Thanks, J!
