Hi there!

In the process of implementing LandFX at our office, we ended up with a library of details that are not quite consistent in layer management. I'm working on getting it consistent, and I noticed that when an erroneous detail is already on a sheet, I edit the detail to change the layer that this field is on (confirming that it's set to color by layer), and update details, other things update but this field retains its original color.

When the same detail is placed in a new drawing, the DETAIL-FILE field appears correctly.

Is the best way of dealing with this removing the detail, purging, and putting it back?

Katherine,

Actually the easiest method would be to use the ATTSYNC command (then S to Select, select the detail, and Enter for Yes).
We do have this on the wishlist to automatically apply the ATTSYNC command when updating placed details, so this will probably get taken care of automatically in the near future.
