Any plans to have LandFX integrate with DraftSight in the future?

Julie,

I attended a seminar for DraftSight Developers a number of years ago. Sadly, it looks like Graebert -- the company entrusted with creating the API, developer community, and plugin store -- has not really accomplished much since then. You can see it's not exactly a thriving market for plugins: http://www.shareit.com/product.html?productid=300646326
For now, our development efforts are directed more towards 3D, BIM, and interoperability with other platforms. In terms of a simplistic and low-cost 2D CAD platform, I would only be interesting in something web-based.
One thing we could offer for DraftSight, would be an ability to access the Land F/X information embedded with the drawing elements. However even here we would be incredibly hobbled by the near complete lack of developer resources. I think when Dassault chooses to pull DraftSight into the 3DS family (https://www.3ds.com/products-services/) it will prove they are serious about supporting the platform.
