New user here. 

If one job/project has both planting and irrigation, is it advisable to have a separate file and LFX Project for irrigation and a separate file and LFX Project for planting?  Alternatively one file could have all both planting and irrigation design, either on top of each other or next to each other by copying the background.

Is it advisable to have a separate template for Planting and Irrigation or create one master template?

Patrik,

As you may have seen in the email response Megan sent in the Support Ticket you submitted earlier today, you will want to keep your irrigation and planting plans as separate .dwg files. You should, however, keep all irrigation, planting, and site data that pertain to a single design (no matter how many .dwg files it consists of) within one Land F/X project. You can then put your files together using Xrefs. Please see the links below for more on the proper workflows and understandings of how to set things up.
