Yellow Boxes With Exclamation Marks Throughout Screen

Issue

You see several small yellow boxes containing exclamation marks (!) throughout your CAD interface, as shown below.

Cause

This issue is the result of a system variable known as ANNOMONITOR being set incorrectly.

Solution

Set the ANNOMONITOR system variable to 0:

Type AnnoMonitor in the Command line. When prompted to set a value, type 0 (that is, zero – not the letter O). Press Enter.

The boxes should disappear from view.
