Irrigation For Sports Fields

Presented by Joshua Henrick

Irrigation Sports Fields Webinar
The webinar Friday will be our very first on Sports Field Irrigation. Josh Henrick has been a client of Land F/X for four years and has done numerous sports fields. With the challenge of irrigating complicated areas, he has been able to break down the process to a site analysis where you understand the configurations of infields, sidelines, limits of irrigation coverage, and maintenance requirements. Josh will then go into his plan preparation, product selection, head layout, calculating pressures, locating valves, mainline connection, pipe routing, sizing pipes, drawing clean-up, and finally running your Irrigation and Valve Schedule. You don't want to miss this webinar!

This webinar will begin Friday at 10am PST, 1pm EST.

Comment of the Week:

"Client very happy with the first draft. Smiles all round.
We have SO much design work at the moment – we would never be able to get through what we are getting done without Land F/X."

See you there!

ASLA in Phoenix

The Annual ASLA Expo is next week and Land F/X will be there! If you are attending, make sure to stop by our booth at 660. You can also catch Dave's Learning Labs on Saturday and Sunday at 12:15pm. Saturday will be on CAD and the Design Cycle of a Project, and Sunday will be Irrigation Design Using CAD Technology
Unfortunately, we were unable to get enough RSVP's for our mascarade party, so if you were planning on attending, make sure to talk to Krystal for the updated plan at the booth. You will need to pick up a ticket for the event.
We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Please note that the office will have limited staff while at the conference. You will be more successful at contacting Tech Support and Krystal by email.
G'day mate!

Coming Back From Down Under

The Sydney Landscape Expo was quite a success! We got to see a few clients, and even had a new member join the Land F/X family. Trade shows are always a great opportunity for us to connect with potential customers, to see what features of the software are most desired, what sort of projects people are working on, and where we should be putting our future energies.  It was especially energizing to have so many people recognize the efforts we have made in tailoring the software to meet unique Australian demands -- everything from the addition of many hundreds of Australian native plants to our database, to being able to specify Australian Dollars for cost estimates.  We also got a chance to present the software to some local firms, and are looking to expanding our presence in Brisbane, Melbourne, and beyond.
