We have a single detail with multiple objects scaled differently in a single detail. For instance we may have a deck detail, a footing/post detail, a handrail method of attachment enlargement and a Step nailing enlargement, a handrail attachment detail all drafted and assigned as blocks then inserted at different scales into the same detail. - - - What is the best/easiest way to have all of the dimensions come out the correct length and look the same? It seems that LandFX could make this easy for us, but I think that rather than checking the scale of the block that is being dimensioned, it's looking at the detail scale from the frame (which in many cases varies as described above). I'd like it to notice that the entity being dimensioned is a block, determine the scale of the block and insert the dimension properly (both length and style of the dimension). --- So, as has hallened before, please let me know that LandFX already does this as I wished it would, but I jsut haven't stumbled upon the way that it's done. BTW, already watched the video, but it showed it on two separate details at different scales. Not one detail with multiple, differently scaled blocks. - Thanks in advance.

Seaweed,
You may have already seen the improvement that we have done with the Enlargement tool, but if not, it's even more magic than before!!!

Take a look at the link below and even just try the tool out again (making sure you are up to date of course). Remember, Q & E are you friends when using the tool. Let us know how you like it!!!

Seaweed,
Today is your lucky day! Take a look at the link below on how our Detail Enlargement tool works. In short, within your original detail template, you will scale the other "enlargement areas" to an appropriate scale and use the Enlargement tool to drop a special scale around the desired linework. Land F/X will then allow you to choose a scale and dimension as you were but it will reflect the correct length of said items. It's a little bit magic ;)

Let us know if you run into any questions and we can help you from there!
