Is it possible to change the linetype scale on pipe? For example, if I want to show a second lateral class, the long dash-double short dash line type often shows up as solid lines if head and/or fitting placement is too tight. Is there a way to shorten this scale so it draws that way, without manually changing each pipe segment?

Your best bet would be to change the linetype for that Layer, to something that works better for you.
A new Pipe Data dialog box is coming soon, that will allow you to choose a different linetype for each class of pipe.
