I am wondering if it is possible to have the a Title and Notes section for Ref Note Items. I am interested in creating a overall schedule which has all the information we are placing into the Note: on a particular sheet in our drawing set. Then on a drawing sheet have the option to turn off the Notes yet still have to item called out. I would like to be able to create a minimized version to free up space for my drawing viewport.

Thank you, and I hope the above makes sense.

Wes,

Absolutely. In the schedule dialog box, you are welcome to uncheck Symbol, Code, Quantity, and Detail.

Sorry Jeremiah, but that doesn't answer my question. I am aware that I can uncheck those items, I am asking if there can be a title and remark sections similar to the planting schedule. The image I added shows the 2 schedule options I am asking about.

Thank you,
Wes
Wes,

Ah, apologies, I completely misread that.
In your example, how would the system possibly know you want the words “granite pavers” but not “size varies”?
There’s a possibility it could include the first line of text only, this is something we have scheduled for a new callout style. But that requires having a line break in the notes to be able to determine what text to exclude.

We are also considering adding a a separate Title text box, above the Notes box, to more easily allow having the two distinct items of text.

Hey Wes,

Good to see you here. I wonder if generating two separate schedules would help. Also, maybe adjusting the viewport in the paper sheet would be helpful. But knowing you as I do (you are much smarter than I), you've already considered these options and found them ineffective. Right?

Jeremiah Farmer What I was getting at above was the hope that when filling out the ref notes there could be an option similar to the screen shot. Where instead of the Plant Name: it could read Reference Item: That would become the first line of text in the schedule, the section where the Remarks are would be the Reference Item Information: Then similar to creating a planting schedule I could either select or not select the Reference Item Information check box.

Wes
Wes Quayle Yes, that does sound like the 2nd item Jer mentioned, "Title text box, above the Notes box, to more easily allow having the two distinct items of text".
