This might be better in feature requests, but here's the issue: I accidentally put a whole bunch of 4" turf sprays in shrub areas, which should, of course, be 12" sprays. The replace option via edit/info only allows me to replace those heads with other turf heads--no option to pick shrub heads, or anything else.

Given that the nozzle sizes would remain the same, would it be possible to add switching from turf to shrub (and vice versa) heads as an option for the "replace" function? By early next week? (Ha!)

Other than the time consuming re-doing of the head layout, or managing some sort of "match properties" exercise, is there any quick way of changing all these heads that I don't know about?

Thanks!
Hi Tom,

This stuff happens. We just start clicking away and then .... Oh no!!!! But it's really not that bad.You won't have to redo your head layout. Here's an easy solution:
1. Using the Irrigation Manager add the desired 12" pop-up to your project (if they're not already there).
2. insert the desired head types (half, fulls, etc.) into your drawing at any random location.
3. Using the match properties button (the one with the paint brush on the icon; the plant or irrigation match properties buttons are both equally effective) click the head that you want to switch out to (the 12" pop-up) and then click all of the heads that you want replaced (the 4" pop-ups).
4. Do the same with the other spray patterns and you're done, none for the worst.

Easy as pie. _ hope that this helps you.

Seaweed,

That was very nicely put. I was just going to say that Tom shouldn't make those types of mistakes, then you wouldn't have to worry about what to do! :p ;) But all kidding aside, Match Properties should be your best bet.
Yes, I'm no longer perfect.

I figured "match properties" would be my best bet.

Thanks!

As an even shorter alternative, as long as the nozzles are the same, you could just edit the text description of the head type through the manager. Change the 4" text to 12".:D
