Hi,
I'm experiencing an issue with slope callouts whereby when using the callout tool and selecting two spot elevations I am getting inconsistent orientation between the spots. I've tried multiple scenarios, but haven't detected a predictable pattern to their odd orientation. Between some spots, the elevations calculate and orient themselves perfectly. On other spots, the slopes are calculated correctly, but the slope arrow is pointing in the opposite direction (180 degrees, exactly). In yet a third scenario, the callout appears to calculate correctly, but is oriented in what appears to be a random direction.
I suspect this has something to do with the UCS, but have not been able to correct the issue. I'd like to try to figure this out (with your suggestions), rather than send the file to you for error checking. I figure I'll learn something valuable in the process. Can you point me in a likely direction?
Thanks!
