Is there a way to add a calculator like the cost calculator that could be used to calculate the square footage of shrubs that would multiply by the quantity to get coverage calculations. In Southern Nevada we are required to show that we have provide adequate coverage of shrubs and ground covers on the ground plane and then compute a percentage coverage. Also could we have a similar calculator to calculate shade coverage for trees (i.e. parking lot shade calls).

Always looking for a better way to do our work with LandFX.

Bob,
In addition to Jeremiah's recommendations, I have provided a link to a Density Cost Estimation Webinar we put on a while back. On that page there is a downloadable file that I would recommend checking out. It has some pretty cool little calculation tools that we have put together for your use. Let us know what you think.

If you include the Spacing toggle from the schedule, and output it to Excel, you could very quickly calculate the total area of all Shrubs.
We plan to add a Canopy toggle for trees to do the same.
