We would like to add some information regarding how a plant reacts in our particular region or in specific microclimates. For example, Fothergilla gardenii likes lots of water, but we have found in our region it can take less water as long as it is provided with shade in the afternoon.
When adding custom fields in Plant Data, we are restricted to checkboxes. It would be great if we could have a text box option for our custom fields, so we can add our findings about the plant and have that information stored alongside the other plant data.

We are in the process of tweaking the plant database, so this is good timing. We will keep this in mind as we expand the current capability.
