From the LandFX Site:
When the Sheet Number is a Field object MText, Land F/X excludes the following:
any field longer than 12 characters (Like IRRIGATION SHCDULE AND CALCULATIONS)
any field with more than one "/" character
any field with more than one "-" character
any field with more than one "." character (Like L-1-A?)
any field with a space (Like PLANTING PLAN)
any field consisting of all characters (Like all characters? What deos this mean?)
any field consisting of all numbers (like 11 as in "Sheet 11 of 45"?)
any field consisting of a single hyphen and all numbers (Like 22-1?)

Why all the restrictions?

Maybe a Hot Tip would change my opinion as to the LandFX Project Manager being able to work with the AutoCAD Sheet Set Manager. Right now, I don't think that it does and it's too bad. All of out sheet data and match-line text is driven by our sheet sets. Our sheet numbers change all the time and if our LandFX PM could follow along then it would be real nice.

I mean, I can create a block which contains the sheet set information as attributes, but if LandFX places the above restrictions (at least the way that I understand them, or misunderstand them)

When an attribute, we can go off the Tag, which is easier. Which is why we recommend that.
If not an attribute, then those restrictions apply, in an attempt to distinguish every Text entity from each other.
So the restrictions don't apply to attributes, do it that way.

Excellent! Next time our sheer information will be placed in a block. Do the attribute tags need to match the field name?
Request: Put the masterful Yodi Jake on this one for a Hot Tip. I'd love it and I'm sure that many others would too.
Oh, welcome back my friend. I hope that you feel refreshed.

BTW, You may want to make that more clear on your web site. It may have protected me from feeling as stupid as I really am. :)
You were referencing the correct page, you just skipped past the important relevant stuff.
On this page:
https://www.landfx.com/index.php/docs/admin/drawing-setup/item/1460-sheetsets.html

The first bulleted list is the allowable list of attribute tags. The bulleted list you originally quoted only applies if you are not using attributes.

I see it will pull the sheet number if we set the field up in a block. Will it pull the "Title" also? If so, this is a great solution for sheet numbers changing. Currently we're assigning an ID to each sheet, Like "PP" for planting Plan, "D1" for the first detail sheet (some times "PD1" for plans what separate the details info sub-sheets. But there's no place for those in agency standard title blocks so we add them were we can which can be weird sometimes. There's also other confusing issues (like a traffic plan checker wanting to get rid of it since he/she doesn't know what it is. But if the LandFX Project Manager reads the Title as well as the Sheet Number and updates it when it's opened, then just as our match lines and frames are updated automatically through the sheetset, so will our detail information in our legends.
Is this correct? If so, I'm a happy boy (beet farmers referenceTitle).
Nope, we don't read in the title, as it is too problematic. Also not imperative.
You are welcome to edit the sheets that are auto-populated, and provide the title.

Sounds good. While the sheet numbers change often, the title doesn't. Also, LandFX doesn't really need to track the title. It mostly referenced the sheet. Thanks Jer.
