You Must Save the Block into the ... Folder Tree (Saving a Block)

Issue

When trying to save a block into our system using our Save Block tool, you saw an error message similar to the following:

You must save the block into the ... folder tree.

 

example: You must save the block into the \\POND\\INSTALL\LANDFX\BLOCKS\ folder tree.

Cause

This error occurs when you try to save a block and your installation is incorrectly mapped to a UNC path rather than a letter drive.

Solution

Follow our instructions to map a letter drive for your installation. You should then be able to save blocks without generating the error.

You may need your office IT administrator to either complete or help you with this process.
