Pipe Won't Offset or Snap to a Custom Irrigation Symbol
Issue
You attempted to pipe to a custom irrigation symbol block, but the pipe is running straight through the block rather than offsetting at its edge as it does with Land F/X blocks.
You might be having this issue with our Lateral Pipe or Mainline Pipe tool.
Cause
Our piping tools can only snap to irrigation symbols that include at least one line segment that can serve as a perpendicular cut line. For this reason, we highly recommend using simple lines, arcs, and circles when creating custom symbol blocks. The custom symbol is likely missing such a segment, which is preventing the pipe from attaching to it correctly.
Solution
Edit the custom symbol block, making sure to add a polyline, line, arc, or circle that our piping tools can easily snap to.
We ran into this issue when creating some of our bubbler symbols and therefore had to be careful to design them to include simple line segments for this reason. The example below shows a blue line, representing a lateral pipe, drawn to one of our bubbler symbols before (left) and after (right) we added an arc to allow the pipe to snap to and offset from the symbol correctly.
