Download and Install the Planting F/X for SketchUp Plugin
The following steps are for installing our Planting F/X for SketchUp Plugin. Our plugin for SketchUp is included in our Planting F/X and Irrigation F/X plugins for AutoCAD. Note that SketchUp is a separate program that you must purchase and download from Trimble.
Don't have SketchUp yet? You can download it from the SketchUp website. We offer the Planting F/X for SketchUp Plugin, but we do not own or provide downloads of SketchUp.
Land F/X supports SketchUp Pro, versions {jumi[*32]} and newer. Please also note that our Planting F/X plugin for SketchUp does not support Local Data configurations and requires our Cloud Data option.
Trial users
A Land F/X trial provides a license for our Irrigation F/X plugin for CAD, which also includes the Planting F/X and Detail F/X plugins. During the trial period, you'll have access to all functionality of our plugins, including Planting F/X for Revit®, SketchUp, and Rhino. You'll even be able to have one of these 3D platforms open at the same time, on the same computer, as our F/X CAD Autodesk engine. The license for your Land F/X trial will check out to your computer, and as long as that machine can handle the load, you'll be able to use it with all our applications at once – even on multiple CAD versions at a time if you have different years installed.

Install the Planting F/X Plugin for SketchUp
1. Right-click the following link. Save the file (or select "Save Link As" from the menu that appears).

2. Open the Extensions menu from the SketchUp top menu bar, and select the Extension Manager option.
3. The Extension Manager will open.
Click Install Extension.
4. Navigate to the landfx.rbz file you downloaded in Step 1 above.
This file is likely in your Downloads folder.
Click Open.
Did you see the following message? This extension has not been marked as being compatible with your version of SketchUp. You may experience usability issues if you try to install this extension. If so, don't worry. You can close the message and continue with the installation.
5. After installation, click the Settings icon on the LandFX toolbar.
6. The Land F/X Settings dialog box will open.
